Countdown to Victory

My dad was a judge, so I've been around politics since I was a kid. I've always been interested in the game of politics. And since I started my first business back in the 1980s, I've been interested in the connections and similarities between politics and business.

Most political campaigns are flat-out boring. Just like most businesses, they all look alike, act alike, and think alike. If you've seen one of them, you've seen them all.

But then I first heard about the Presidential campaign of Vivek Ramiswamy leading up to the 2024 election. The more I heard Vivek speak, the more I became a fan. Not just because I agreed with his message. But I quickly realized that there was something special about his entire message and presentation. He had some of the same magic I had first seen in Donald Trump circa 2015. He had some of that same anti-establishment "just-fix-the-dadgum-problem" bravado that captured the hearts and minds of millions of voters who are fed-up with the status quo.

In my own journey as an entrepreneur, I've written dozens of books on success, sales, and entrepreneurship. And the more I watched Vivek's campaign and times since, listened to his message, and watched him debate, the more I knew that I was a fan. I even toyed with writing a book about Vivek (called Vivek for Victory - hence this domain name) and why he'd be good for business, but it never came together and I had too many other projects taking my time.

Vivek for Victory was going to be a book about business, not politics or Vivek's campaign, specifically. But in my mind, there are all kinds of parallels between business and being a politician.

Anyhow, the book never came together for several reasons, but this domain name could be used for someone who wanted to support Vivek's campaign for Governor of Ohio. So reach out if you're interested. I may still write the book sometime, so I'll hold onto the domain unless someone else would like it.
